| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 17, 2009 500 ml bottle. Mahogany with a ruby red hue. Medium-sized light beige fine-laced head that clings to the glass. Nutty aroma with a lot of chocolate. Very mellow aroma. Licorice flavours. Bready ye flavours, much reminiscent of kvass. Distinct hop bitterness that feels sharp and metallic initially, but blends into the soft flavours. A little watery in the finish. Interesting Christmas beer, and quite unlike any other I’ve had. In all it reminds of a kvass. fonefan (11818), VestJylland, Denmark
