Goodgrief (1055), Middletown, Delaware, USA Apr 14, 2008 Dark as night pour with smallish head and a little lacing. Weak vinous aroma, oddly. Flavor was large amounts of milk chocolate, very little to no bitterness. Silky smooth...I enjoyed this...I might have enjoyed it more, but I think I just picked the wrong beer for my mood tonight. :(

Immy (1588), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Sep 27, 2008 500ml bottle. Black with a thick beige pour. Strong molasses and raisin nose, somewhat plummy. Bold flavor, thick molasses, dark chocolate and plums. Excellent lace, medium body. Some licorice comes through late. Good stuff! BelgianBeerGal (983), Sabbatical in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA Sep 26, 2008 Bottle in Bar Harbor, ME. Very pretty pour with a very dark brown colour, good carbonation and a tan head that dissolves into a khaki head. Aroma is mostly raisons but also a little coffee. Great flavour of more coffee but also well balanced. Very easy to drink. Skeegle (318), USA Sep 22, 2008 I found this to be in the middle of porter/stout/imperial porter as far as taste goes. It was incredibly bitter, and dark and rich, but for some reason this one seemed to have little drinkability to me despite its low 5.6% abv. mirjukka (436), LOHJA, Finland Sep 21, 2008 bottle 500ml shared Thanks to FatPhil & Anna color :dark brown.
