060902: Changed my rating. Had a bottle from 2004, stored for 2 years. Still black with a brownish head. This beer really grows with time. Wonderful soft malty chocolate aroma, even better flavor, chocolate, mailky and with a perfect palate. Very, very good. I recommend everyone to but a lot of bottles and then store them...
Also, without adding it to my rating, I just loved the 1986 verision of this beer that was sold at the Stockholm Beer Festival 2004...

Sep 27, 2008 500ml bottle. Black with a thick beige pour. Strong molasses and raisin nose, somewhat plummy. Bold flavor, thick molasses, dark chocolate and plums. Excellent lace, medium body. Some licorice comes through late. Good stuff!

Sep 26, 2008 Bottle in Bar Harbor, ME. Very pretty pour with a very dark brown colour, good carbonation and a tan head that dissolves into a khaki head. Aroma is mostly raisons but also a little coffee. Great flavour of more coffee but also well balanced. Very easy to drink.

Sep 22, 2008 I found this to be in the middle of porter/stout/imperial porter as far as taste goes. It was incredibly bitter, and dark and rich, but for some reason this one seemed to have little drinkability to me despite its low 5.6% abv.
