12oz bottle from performula. Good citrus on the nose. Orange body with decent head that disipated fairly quick. Got a good citrus grapefruit flavor at first gulp. But somewhere between the middle and fish this beer flaten out with a stale sweet malt that wasn’t all bad but odd. Decent brew.

Picked this up at the brewery. Pours an amber with medium head. Lots of particles that float around in the beer. Sharp floral smell that is pleasant. Tastes exactly the same. Along with citrus and pine. Bittering effect once swallowed. This beer should be offered in store. Freaking good, being a local, for a tiny warehouse. EDIT 12/03/07 - the beer also has a sweet taste to it as well. Jumped from their IPA to this and noticed a huge difference. It is smoother as well.

bottled 11/20/07. Pours hazy shade of amber with off white that quickly settles into fluffy islands. Nice lacing. Citrus/pine on the nose, very sweet smelling. Well balanced bitter-sweet beer with similar flavors as the aroma. Very Nice beer!

Big hop aroma, copper color, a little hazy. The 8.2% is not really evident. It’s got great caramel and hop flavor and a long hop finish.

Pours a transparent copper bronze with a well-lacing frothy off-white head. Aroma of lightly sweet pale malt with a touch of earthy piny hops. Body starts fairly full, caramely malty and sweet with a touch of earthy cardboardy, slightly oxidized notes toward a crisp finish. A pretty decent imperial IPA that would be better if it were fresher.

Poured a hazy amber color with a medium off-white head. Nice citrus hop forward aroma with a strong caramel malt base. Mix of aged caramel malt and piney hops for flavor. Moderate bitterness on the finish with some alochol warmth. Semi-dry and medium-full body.

Bottled on 6/28/06. Burnished copper color with a good head of foam. Caramelly scents of pine tar, citrus rind, and wintergreen. Hit of alcoholic warmth lingers. Prickly and slightly harsh bitterness in finish. Dank high alpha hop flavor balanced by layers of roasted specialty malts. Flavor doesn’t measure up to the nose.
