Commercial Description:
#14, is a Belgian Tripel. It has a deep golden color with a complex balance of spicy, fruity and alcohol flavors. It is made with pilsener and caramel malts and Hallertau hops. This beer is unfiltered and heavily carbonated for a champagne like fizz.

From a bottle - dated 7/1/09 from the brewery - pours a honey color with a thin head. Aroma of apricot, spice, and honey. Taste is a slightly sour apricot, some honey, spice and faint hops. Not quite as carbonated as I expected but overall a pretty good brew.

bottled 7/1/09. Bright amber pour with a slight haze. Banana and light spice on the nose. Thin bodied. Caramel, spice and fruit. Subtle hints of hops on the finish

bottle, from brewery. bottled 07/01/09. Good aroma, sweet. Honey, banana, clove, pepper, little cheese. Hazed golden orange color, ok head that faded quick, no lace. Sweet and bitter flavor. Lite in body, creamy oily mouth feel, dry bitter finish. Eh, it’s good, I think, but in the bottle it had a taste that wasn’t in the pints I had at 42cd street oyster house release party, Aroma and flavor would be a point higher if memory serves me correctly on tap, but I didn’t take notes. Will revisit
