Carolina Beer Sir Bruno’s ESB

Draft at CBC brewpub, CLT airport. Clear golden-copper with a lasting quarter inch of foam. Light aroma of apple, caramel and citrus. Flavor is toasted nut, caramel, apple, slight citrus and resin. Light-medium body is tingly and dry.

Tap and brewery tour. Pours golden with white head. Rather unimpressive ESB and more like a pale to me.

Had this on tap at the brewery after a Saturday morning tour. Also so it on tap at BofA Stadium at a Pather’s game. Unfortunately it’s not too good, and doesn’t remind me of an ESB at all. Pass.
