Rich, bright orange-gold body with a small white head, not completely filtered looking. Aroma of grass, herbs, hay and grains. Flavor is lightly sweet, with a big dose of straight up pale malt. Some light pils malt sweetness as well, with a muted hops finish. Very good texture, not sharp and bubbly, but smooth, drinkable and only moderately carbonated. Medium-light body. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Feb 1, 2005 Pretty darn good for the style! Considerably more malty than either of the two blondes I tried in Charleston. Perhaps by bottling this beer, the brewer is able to beef it up a tad and have it sell because of the wider distribution that bottled beers have. Whatever the case, I enjoyed the light floral hops but found it perhaps overly fizzy. Pigfoot (2226), Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA

slim, fizzy white head, briefly staying.
citric nose, sour, shy.
weak mouthfeel, light fruit, thin body, inoffensive flavor, tiny hop bite, clings to throat, slides down somewhat smooth, leaves little in the finish.
easy quencher, nothing more, nothing less.

| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Dec 3, 2004 Bottle: Poured a light golden color beer with a medium bubbly head with average retention. Aroma is quite subtle with some crisp malt noticeable. Taste is quite refreshing with some crisp and sweet malt. I had worst pils but this one just lack character to be truly interesting. hershiser2 (923), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 30, 2004 Paid $1.49 for a 12-oz single. Slightly hazy yellow with a very large white head. I wish I could give a 0 for aroma and have it not count, because honestly, I can’t smell a thing from this pour. Taste is dirty and earthy grasses.. kinda light, but not light-light. Kinda sweet and... funky. Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Sep 8, 2004 This brew pours with a pale golden body topped by a thin head with little lacing. The aroma is slightly sweet and malty with a grassy hop note. Not an over aromatic beer. The flavor isn’t bad. It’s slightly sweet but mostly bitter and hoppy iwth a grainy malt note and a little grass. Light bodied, smooth and slightly dry. TheBeerGod (3171), Newport News, Virginia, USA
| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jul 3, 2004 Hazed gold. Medium off-white head. Nose is grainy and malty. Really grainy, as I smell it more. Taste is wheaty with malt and faint hops. Seemingly an American wheat blended with a pale lager. Not too bad tasting, however the palate feels chewy. The finish has only a hint of bittering hops and is mostly wheat.
