Jan 21, 2009 Tall slim can courtesy of durhambeer. Looks like a Red Bull can. Pours a hazy gold with a generous white head. Smells of citrus, some dry malt. Tastes of citrus with a dry malty finish.

Jan 17, 2009 on tap at CLT during a layover. Pours a pale yellow color with a very distinct doughy aroma. Taste was fruity with a bit of yeast/doughiness. Palate was remarkably smooth and body was full for a blond ale. Good choice.

Dec 29, 2008 Thanx Wayne.. simple .. not much to it .... orange tinged light amber with an off white head that shrinks as low as it can go ....light citrus aroma along with some yeast that has a sour quality to it ....light refreshing body yet watery .... flavor is similar to aroma but even more sour..... easy to drink though until the finish finishes ..... it could be worse i suppose

Dec 10, 2008 12 oz. bottle via trade with tronraner - Pours a clear light golden color with a medium size white head. Light carbonation. No lacing. The aroma is slightly skunky with a hint of grain. I dont mind the skunk, but I dont think its cool for this style of beer. Flavor is lightly sweetened grain and herbal hops. Light to medium body. A decent beer. Thanks Joe.

Dec 9, 2008 12 oz can pours straw, golden yellow with a one finger head. Tart fruit in the aroma, like apricots or figs. Mild hop bitterness/dryness with a light body. A bit of honey like flavor with a nice aftertaste. Seems too light on the tongue even for the style. Would be a nice lawnmower beer, instead of BMC. I do have to say that the can in was packed in kicked a$$. It was a 12oz can but was skinny like a Red Bull can with a slick black paint job and the name in the form of their trademark lighthouse design. Nice packaging for a middle of the road beer.

Nov 20, 2008 Pours a very light golden color with very little head - aroma of slight fruit and grass - very bland taste and nothing lingers what-so-ever. Lots of good beers being made in NC these days - this isn’t one of them.
