Very macro, or very not macro depending if you’re a "glass half full" or a "this beer sucks" kinda guy. That means it’s a sucky macro style beer that tastes only like a macro at half-mast. But as a micro beer, it tastes far too much like a macro. Either way this beer isn’t that great and I don’t know why I’m writing so much on it. It pours the color of a homeless man’s urine and tastes like a soccer mom’s urine. Do with that description what you will, but thank me that I stalled you for 40 seconds before you bought this beer if you’re reading this.

Draught at Charlotte International Airport. Pours clear light yellow with an average, frothy, white head, diminishing with good lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (grain, straw), light hops (grass), average yeast (sweat) with notes of corn. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and an astringent finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

12oz. bottle: This one pours a slightly hazy, straw yellow color. Mine had a very small white head that went away quickly. The aroma is a bit light, with slight malt and citrus notes. It definitely is a lighter body. The taste is just slightly sweet malts. Somewhat better than generic beer. Unexciting, but drinkable.

I was not a big fan of this bottled blonde. Pale straw color with a whipped egg white head and a wet pasta nose. Standard macro golden beer taste.

On tap at McGhee Tyson Airport in the Ruby Tuesday’s. Pours pale yellow with a thin white head. Super large carbonation bubbles form in gratuitous amounts that just won’t subside. This is dry-tasting like an apple cider. Since it was served to me ice cold in a frozen mug, it was difficult to get an initial aroma. The first taste was mildly lemony and slightly sweet at the finish. Pleasantly finishes and was not harsh at all. The extreme fizziness really detracts from the palate, though. I mean, you could force carbonate an entire keg of beer with the bubbles of CO2 from just one glass of this stuff. Fairly weak lacing. There really is nothing at all up-front from this beer. All the flavor is at the back end and pretty much only a whimper at that. Still, this was not obnoxiously void in the manner of a BMC, so kudos to this chain for carrying this beer on tap instead of any light beer options. While I was at the bar, two different morons walked up to the bar and asked for a Bud Light on tap and angrily stormed out when the bartender suggested this beer instead!

Draft at Barley’s. Poured clear amber color with an average fizzy white head that was mostly lasting with fair lacing. Moderate sour citrus aroma. Light to medium body. Light sweet flavor with a light sweet finish of short duration. Sweet drinkable beer.
