Commercial Description:
A special brew to commemorate American Beer Month, first brewed in 2004. “Firecracker Pale Ale” is a true American classic straw colored ale made with fresh North West Chinook hops. This is an easy drinking beer that still packs a punch. Pick up your pint to toast our favorite month of the year!

Tap at tylers in Durham. Yellow in color, white head. Hoppy smelling and tasting. Not really worth it, kind of bland. Certainly a run of the mill APA

Pours a nice golden yellow color with a large white head. Aroma is grassy and slightly hoppy. Flavor was suprisingly slightly hoppy. Other than that, nothing real speacial.

Straw colored with a thin white head. Lots of grass in the aroma. Flavor is way too grassy as well. It’s just simple unpleasant bitterness with a watery finish. Doesn’t succeed as a lawnmower beer and it’s draft only so you probably wouldn’t be able to use it as such anyway. Rating #600! Wish I would’ve saved this one for a better beer.

Draft... Clear, straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head.I pulled nothing out of the aroma at all. Not offensive, though. Flavor is fairly non-descript with whispers of butter and straw. Light-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes clean.

from a bottle, decorated with a roaring, rampaging lion on the label. Clear, orange-y color, adequate, lasting layer of bone-white foam. Sweetish, soft, hoppy aroma. Burst of hops on the palate, then mellow and easy drinking. Medium bodied, with a crisp, citric finish. An average, sessionable pale ale, or as I call it in this weather, "breakfast"...

Gold pour, with hopcit in flavor and aroma. Crisp finish with more hops and some spice as it finishes.

Straw colored without much head. Slightly hoppy aroma and flavour. Minimally bitter.
