Commercial Description:
A special brew to commemorate American Beer Month, first brewed in 2004. “Firecracker Pale Ale” is a true American classic straw colored ale made with fresh North West Chinook hops. This is an easy drinking beer that still packs a punch. Pick up your pint to toast our favorite month of the year!

@Tampa Weekly Gathering- growler-pours a disappearing white head and yellow/gold color. Aroma is herbal/pine hops, secondary malt. Taste is herbal/pine hops, secondary malt. Weird.

Draft... Clear, straw-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head.I pulled nothing out of the aroma at all. Not offensive, though. Flavor is fairly non-descript with whispers of butter and straw. Light-bodied and creamy with medium carbonation. Finishes clean.

Gold pour, with hopcit in flavor and aroma. Crisp finish with more hops and some spice as it finishes.

Straw colored without much head. Slightly hoppy aroma and flavour. Minimally bitter.

Courtesy of jcwattsrugger. Pours clear deep gold with micro thin white head. The aroma is mild with notes of fresh grains, some malts, a touch of earthiness and little else. The taste is earthy and grapefruit like and at the same it also has a mineral and fresh outdoor sensation. Interesting indeed. Into the finish I get a modest level of grapefruit hoppiness lingering into the after taste.

Draft sample at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale amber color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is floral, citrus and earthy hops. Taste is bitter citrus and earthy hops with some resin. Medium bodied.

from a bottle, decorated with a roaring, rampaging lion on the label. Clear, orange-y color, adequate, lasting layer of bone-white foam. Sweetish, soft, hoppy aroma. Burst of hops on the palate, then mellow and easy drinking. Medium bodied, with a crisp, citric finish. An average, sessionable pale ale, or as I call it in this weather, "breakfast"...

Draught at the brewpub. Pours gold with white head. The aroma is buttered toast and earthy hops. The flavor has nice bitter hops but is kind of astringent. A little bit offputting.
