| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | May 19, 2007 On tap at Bean and Barrel. Pours a coppery amber with a fair consistency. The head is thin, white, and frothy. The aroma is sweet and has some sweet fruit notes. The flavor is really sweet, some fruit that I can’t place my finger on, some slight hop, and maybe corny flavors. The palate is clean and cool. Very refreshing and palatable. aubreya (676), Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 16, 2006 From notes 5/17/05:
Pours a soft golden orange with a thin yet fluffy off-white head. Little lacing. Aromas are mild with a subtle toffee malt scent and an underlying herbal hop presence. Flavors follow suit with caramel and toffee notes, with flowery and herbal hop tones close behind. Aftertaste has some more noticeable heftier malt character. Modest mouthfeel. Drinkable and easygoing. Obivously softer and milder than their heavier To Hell ’N Bock.

Nice smooth lager flavor, with a hearty palate. Flavor is a bit monotonous, but good, nonetheless. A pitcher of it goes great with a plate of nachos down at CB. jcwattsrugger (5333), Florida and, New Jersey, USA
