Jul 24, 2007 on tap-pours a white head and yellow color. Aroma is sweet grain. Taste is sweet grain, perfumy light hops. OK effervescence. 2.9 Better with food.

Oct 1, 2006 An okay attempt at a Kölsch, the German lawnmower beer. It’s got a very pale gold body with a small head that manages to do some fine lacing. The aroma is a light, sweet malt with a mild grassy bitterness. Apr 25, 2005 Gold color, with aroma of hopcit and some honey. Tastes kolschy, with hopcit and some malty sweetness. Smooth, albeit light in palate and non complex.

Jul 4, 2005 Had this on tap at the brew pub in Chapel Hill. True to it’s name it is clear and golden. Not much nose. Head dissipates quickly. Refreshing, but bites you back. The palate, in particular, is a bit astringent. Crisp finish.

Sep 14, 2009 Sampled on draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear pale yellow color with a thin head. Fair head retention and lacing. Aroma is grassy hops with slight grainy notes. Taste is grassy hops with a toasted malt finish and faint nutty notes. Thin-medium bodied. Strongly carbonated.
