| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Feb 12, 2008 12oz bottle from emacgee, right out of the box and at perfect serving temperature. Clear brilliant amber orange color, with a dank, floral and perfumy hop oil nose, along with some cedar and bread crust notes, a little nutty as well. Flavor has some munich malt, some chewiness and nuttiness, with a mixture of dry, grassy c-note hops and a bit of fuggles-esque hops as well. A simple, solid IPA, which is what IPA should be. hophead75 (1964), Boonton, New Jersey, USA

Aroma: alot of citrus hops, as well as some caramel malts. Taste is well balanced between citrus and floral hops, and malt. Bitterness is moderate in the taste and becomes stronger in the finish. A good accessible IPA. Thanks Ethan! Hoss (602), Florida, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 11, 2007 Bottle; poured an orange copper with medium sized creamy-ish head. Aroma was solid; caramel, citrus and orange. Soft on the palate. Flavor was good, but pretty standard. Caramel dominates the majority of the tasting experience with only a minimal hop presence. Pretty sweet for the style. About average for the style. Bockyhorsey (2556), Mesa, Arizona, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Dec 3, 2007 This beer has very small carbonation. Hop scent with a woody background. The beer is a little harsh but good. Strong piney taste with a long bitter finish. Probably the best IPA from the Carolinas. Or the ones I’ve sampled (some not rated).
