This is a pretty good local ipa. NicerInPerson (337), North of Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Oct 8, 2007 The aroma was malt and caramel with a nutty note and a strong citrusy hop presence. The beer arrived clear deep amber golden with a light white fairly low head. The flavor was malty and nutty with a decent bittering level and a slight grainy character. The hops were strong in the citrus department. The finish was dry with impressions of malt and citrus lasting into the aftertaste. The body was medium with a moderate level of carbonation. A good solid IPA.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 5, 2007 Poured a pretty standard reddish copper amber with a thin/medium frothy off white head. The aroma was sweet, piney, resiny hop. Seems more like Simcoe than Cascade. The flavor is sweet, solid malty backbone, waxy hop profile, some grapefruit peel, piney. Waxy palate, but not too harsh. Solid IPA. kp (8396), Woodstock, Georgia, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2007 Updated: Jun 9, 2009Draft at brewpub. Straight ahead IPA in nearly every way. Solid hoppiness in aroma and flavor. Not the super interesting hop/malt balance you’ll find in the best IPA, but this one is very drinkable and has a lovely flavor to it. Good solid session brew.
Rerate after trying on draft at a local Indian restaurant. Perhaps this keg (or lines) were in terrible shape, but this beer was bad. It smelled awful and was very washed-out tasting. I’m only somewhat lowering the score since it might have just been a poorly maintained keg. mgumby10 (1858), Jupiter, Florida, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 27, 2007 Pours a orange amber witha tiiny white head. Smells of grapefruit hoppiness, some citrus fruit. Smells like an IPA. taste is on the mild side. Slightly bitter taste, with some grapefruit hops. Definitely has some malts to balance it out though as well. Nothing really spectacular here but a very drinkable IPA nonetheless. finishes clean and crisp. Decent. dwyerpg (2537), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Jun 4, 2007 A light malt aroma. The flavor on this was definitely going sour. Just some bittering hop flavor and sour taste and not much else. cbkschubert (1981), Cochise Co., Arizona, USA

Light spotty lacing. Aroma is light floral hops and toasted malt. Flavor is mostly toasted malt with some hop bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Kinda chewy mouthfeel. Not your typical American IPA, but still good. Thanks Scott.
