(12oz bottle, best by 11/24/05) Small off-white head atop a clear amber body. Aroma is medium sweet, grapefruit, light caramel. Taste is medium sweet, grapefruit, some pine, light caramel. Watery light-medium body, quite drinkable. Seems more like an APA as far as hop aggression, but an enjoyable session beer nonetheless.

Bottl;e courtesy of durhambeer. Pours copper with a thin white head. Smells of citrus, tea, perfume. Tastes bitter and resiny with some maty undertones.

12oz bottle from emacgee, right out of the box and at perfect serving temperature. Clear brilliant amber orange color, with a dank, floral and perfumy hop oil nose, along with some cedar and bread crust notes, a little nutty as well. Flavor has some munich malt, some chewiness and nuttiness, with a mixture of dry, grassy c-note hops and a bit of fuggles-esque hops as well. A simple, solid IPA, which is what IPA should be.

Nice sessionable IPA. It pours a slightly hazed amber body with a thick yellowish head. Good lacing. The aroma is malty with caramel. There’s plenty of fruity scents on top of that, grapefruit and pineapple and a touch of pine. The drink seems balanced more like an APA until a late surge of piney bitterness fills the mouth. Tasty.

Copper colored with aroma of hops and citrus and some apricots. Tastes hoppy, dry as it finishes, with some orange zest and grains of paradise at mid-palate. Nice style.

From a 12 oz bottle bought at the brewery. Poured with a reddish amber color and a fine head of light foam. Nice flourishing cascadey hop aroma. Delicious piney, citrus hoppiness predominates the palate, but in a restrained and very drinkable way. Bit dry, a fuller backdrop could make it perfect. (#2833, 5/4/2007)

Draught. Copper color with thin head. Aroma is sublime; very rich hoppy nose almosy grapfruity. Hop flavors and bitterness are perfectly balanced with the caramel from the grains. Delicious.
