I do get a bit of caramel in the aroma. Also some malt sweetness and hops. Similar tastes. The beer is very smooth and well rounded, with a slight bitterness at the end. Overall, a pretty decent offering. wilkie (1191), Raleigh, North Carolina, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2002 Has a taste similar to a pilsener, but not quite
as crisp. Caramel detected but not very strong.
I love this brewery, but this is clearly not their best
beer. DEbeer (192), West Virginia, USA
