Sep 3, 2003 Amber-gold brew topped by a thick head. Big Vienna malt nose. Nice malty flavor with good hop backup (perhaps too good). Dry malt finish.

Jul 6, 2003 Had this on tap in Hilton Head and it was pretty uninspiring. Very little in the way of hop aroma or flavor and the malt flavor is subtle at best.

May 5, 2003 Bottle: Kind of suprised by this beer. Light copper in color. Fairly decent head on it. I do get a bit of caramel in the aroma. Also some malt sweetness and hops. Similar tastes. The beer is very smooth and well rounded, with a slight bitterness at the end. Overall, a pretty decent offering.

Oct 21, 2002 Has a taste similar to a pilsener, but not quite
as crisp. Caramel detected but not very strong.
I love this brewery, but this is clearly not their best
beer.

Sep 23, 2002 I am not about this stuff. it isn’t too terrible, but I will probably not drink it ever again once this sixer is gone.
