A good lager from CBC. The flavor has loads of character even though the flavor seems too dull from trying to round it out.

On tap at the RDU airport. Nice crisp offering with a good amount of hops - a good session beer.

Amber-gold brew topped by a thick head. Big Vienna malt nose. Nice malty flavor with good hop backup (perhaps too good). Dry malt finish.

Had this on tap in Hilton Head and it was pretty uninspiring. Very little in the way of hop aroma or flavor and the malt flavor is subtle at best.

Bottle: Kind of suprised by this beer. Light copper in color. Fairly decent head on it. I do get a bit of caramel in the aroma. Also some malt sweetness and hops. Similar tastes. The beer is very smooth and well rounded, with a slight bitterness at the end. Overall, a pretty decent offering.

Has a taste similar to a pilsener, but not quite as crisp. Caramel detected but not very strong. I love this brewery, but this is clearly not their best beer.

I am not about this stuff. it isn’t too terrible, but I will probably not drink it ever again once this sixer is gone.
