Tap at Woods on South 2/1/08: Pours a transparent effervescent pale golden with a stringy-lacing white head. Dry, grainy rice nose has a touch of earthy noble hops. Starts thin, grainy and semi-dry with some adjunct flavor. Finishes thin and grainy with very little sweetness. Watered down and uninteresting.

Slimline can. Certainly the lightest microbrew I’ve ever had (based on nutritional info), but not really the lightest taste. Nose of wheat and lemons. Flavors mix dried grains, grass, and some sweet, citrus notes. Obviously not a ton of flavor, but more than most beers of this weight/style. For the price, it makes a perfectly fine substitute for Bud/Miller/Coors Light.

Like the name says it is a lighter version of its big brother. Pretty much the same unique taste just a little more watered down. Hard to find in my area.
