Jan 20, 2009 Bottle at the Charlotte airtport. Very nice strwberry aroma, I was expecting something artificial but it is not. Pale yellow like any pale lager. Good tingly palate. Flavor is also not artificial as I was expecting. Not bitter at all. Friendly finish, one of the better fruit beers I’ve tasted. Good session beer for a fruity. Pleasantly surprized!

Dec 8, 2008 Bottle. Pours gold, clear, with large fizzy head, quick dispersion. Aroma is strawberry. Flavor is some strawberry, and not much else. Ehh, just there. Too light and simple to be interesting.

Nov 20, 2008 Pours a slightly pinkish golden color with no more than a film for a head. The Strawberry scent is obviously present in the aroma and gives this beer a slightly more drinkable flavor than this brewer’s Blonde Ale. Still doesn’t come close to one of the better NC brews available though.

Oct 16, 2008 2008 Knoxville Brewers’ Jam. Pours pale gold with a pink hue and small head. Aroma is sweet semi-artificial strawberry and honey. The flavor is artificial strawberry and sugar. As Suttree already quoted me, it really does seem like strawberry Jolly Ranchers dissolved in, say, Carolina Blonde. It dries out just a little bit in the finish, just enough to keep it from becoming cloying. Meh.

Oct 13, 2008 KBjam. Large strawberries on the nose. An orange/pink pour with tight white head and lace. Fruity and malty. Medium bodied with pretty good carbonation. A pretty tasty fruit if I do say so myself.

Oct 13, 2008 Sampled at the 12th Annual Knoxville Brewer’s Jam. Pinkish orange with a thin white head. Artificial strawberry syrup aroma with some pale golden malt tastes followed by a syrupy mess of harsh, drying strawberry juices.

Jul 25, 2008 12 oz. Foggy orange-copper with a small, lasting head that leaves some soapy lace. Aroma is strawberries and cream. Front flavor is light tart berry with some caramel apple, then a woody-resin and dry grass finish. Light body is watery and finishes dryish. Tastes like a decent bitter with a light dose of strawberry; pretty decent fruit beer.
