| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 11, 2009 Poured crystal clear in a orange-copper color and off-white head. The aroma was a mix, but strong, of bready malt and citrus hop. Hops lean toward domination. The flavor is malt dominant but again strong in both malt and hop. Citrus being the main hop component. Almost a medium body with a semi-dry finish and a good bitterness. A solid IPA. fiver29 (730), Cleveland, Ohio, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Apr 28, 2009 Bottle pours dark amber color with off white head. Aroma has a sweet caramel malt smell with a twang of hops. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor is more caramel malt and finishes with a touch of hop flavor on the backside. When I first tried this I thought it was a red ale. I was surprised to see its an IPA. Guess I should have drank this sooner since its more malty now. A good brew never-the-less. ucusty (1912), Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA
