Carolinian Winery Mead Honey Wine

750 ml bottle-Decanted a chardonnay coloured liquid. The aroma was a blast of honey upfront, with floral notes and hints of pear and vanilla. Tasted sweet, alcoholic honey, floral, some grass with some fruit towards the end. This might have gained alcohol content in the bottle, though I am not sure, but the burn in the finish felt more than 12%. Other than that,it was enjoyable, and would work well as an after dinner drink. It’s too bad it isn’t available all the time.
