This is decent beer in the middle of typical Mexican lagers. It’s deep gold with a big, airy, fizzy head dissipating to a few small, unattractive bubbles. The aroma is slightly moldy lager and also not pleasant. The taste is much better and the key, being light but with a persistent grain flavour mixed with a light, watery apple-cider element leading to a soft finish and grain aftertaste. It’s similar to Pabst in taste and feel, but more sweet and rough. Compared to Pacifico it has more flavour, but less crispness and is more rough.

I travel to Mexico quite often and this is a good ’I want a quick beer at the bar’ kind of beer, especially when warm. Better than most cheap American beers.

Massive 1 quart bottle. ONE QUART!! Pours a clear yellow with a small diminishing white head. Mild aroma is sweet, corny and grainy along with faint fruit and grassy hops. Watery flavour of corn, grain, light grassy hops and maybe some honey. Light bitter finish. Light bodied. Another bland, yet inoffensive Mexican Pale Lager -- sooo dull.

Bottle. Poured a light gold with a very small white head. Looked like cream soda. Very, very faint aroma of grain. Taste is a slightly dry and pretty weak but nonetheless refreshing. Finish is grainy malt that’s pretty weak and watery. I feel I’m bring generous at 1.7.

Clear golden yellow, not much head, lacing or retention. Aroma is light and empty. Flavor is the same, light bodied, highly carbonated. Pretty bad...
