| 1.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Bottle: What can I say about this? It pours a golden ale color with a foamy white head, tastes like corn and grain, and has a typical pale lager finish. Certainly nothing worth seeking out. Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 0.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 1/10 | 1/5 | 1/10 | 1/5 | 2/20 | Oct 15, 2006 12 oz bottle at my local Mexican place. Straw color with a thin white head. Sweet, corny malt nose, some wet cardboard notes. Sickly sweet corn and malt mess of a flavor. I actually used to think this was good with Mexican food; I realize now it’s more like what I expel after eating said food. Blech. If I hadn’t paid $3 for it with my dinner, it’d be a drain pour. | 1.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 3/20 | Sep 27, 2006 Bottle from Beerhandy- Pours sparkiling golden. Head is fizzy, thin, leaving minute lace. Heavy cardboard aroma, with nuances of oxidized pinot grigio. Ohh lord. Tastes corny with heavy fusels and again, bad, bad white wine flavours. Oily, burning finish. Did I get a bad bottle? I’ve wanted to try this for a while, so again, thanks Chris! bubbleflubber (900), Collinsville, Virginia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 5/20 | Sep 19, 2006 Well, if this is "Classic Mexican Lager Tradition" (commercial description), then I’m never drinking a Mexican brew again. This is such a disappointing experience. It pours a golden straw with a minimal sudsy head. The nose is semi-Bazooka gum, semi-nonexistent. The flavor, if any, is of watered Bazooka gum coating and macro corn swill. The finish is exactly the same. The only good thing about this beer was the ability to chalk up another rating.... no kidding. This was just not good. Sputerbug (112), Nacogdoches, Texas, USA
