Pour from a 12 oz bottle. Typical looking brew. Not much to the aroma - a bit of corn and grass. Flavor is mild with the most notable characteristic being a dry, grassy hops finish. Better than many not not so great.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours light amber with a thin head. Poor head retention and lacing. Aroma of sweet malts with a slight grainy and nutty note. Bitter grassy taste with a finish of sweet toasted malts. Thin bodied and very slightly watery. Not too bad.

An average beer, but not the worst from Mexico. Definitely good value, and tastes not so bad. Not as watery as Corona and has better colour and a slightly more robust head.

i’v had Carta Blanca mucho times on various occasions through the years and have usually found it a tasty compliment w/mexican fare and sometimes, one will come across a skunked one or few; nevertheless, and overall, the beer has been good with the food and the friends and it’s usual taste has been invitingly good, consistant and assuring during enduring the hot days. no lime, no lemon, no salt, por favor; just Carta Blanca, please.
