Not a bad mexican beer but I’ve had better. Would highly recommend to have it extremely icy cold - it makes it taste even better

Blanca sure describes this beer. A bland mixture of adjuncts with some hoppiness. Just about the worst of the Mex brews.

bottle - Pours fizzy and yellow with a light, grainy aroma. It tastes bland with some malt and corn and finishes even more blandly. Yes, it’s another lousy pale lager. I’m tempted to just shorten most of my pale lager ratings to those few words... Another Lousy Pale Lager.

Typical corniness story-doesnt have the nice bready, funky wheat flavor most mexican or south american pale lagers have. this just tastes like dusty us macro. ive heard good things about this but either i got an old batch or the stories were wrong. sweet corn all around with watery palate. the 6% is hard to believe too.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours pale golden with a white head, aroma of grain, sweet malts, hoppy aroma. Flavor is bland, sweet malts, water, hops. better than most macro brews.

Sour corn and grains, full of sweaty scents. Flavor is more sour and spoiled grains and corn. Not enjoyable at all.

Is this really 6% alcohol? It doesn’t come across like it is. Bottle- April 13, 2006. Paid $1.99 for a quart bottle at Discount Liquor on Oklahoma in Milwaukee. No real aroma, corn water color, bright white head that is temporarily frothy but then fades. Extra light flavor. I’m an *experienced* drinker. This does not drink like a 6% brew. More like a 4.2. I’m challenging the 6% claim! Nothing offensive about this. Certainly not as much character as other Mexican offerings. But, get it cheap and it’s a good "lawn mowing beer". Especially if it really is 6%.

Pale gold with a medium white head. Funny aroma that I can’t put words to, weak malt flavor with the funny odor appearing in it’s taste.
