Can. Extremely bitter. The finish is a bit skunly. A lager that I would only drink again in the hot and humid Yucatan Peninsula.

Light aroma with some malt and hops but mostly just sweet. The appearance is typical pale lager (golden and sparkling) with small - medium head. The flavor is not offensive but not pleasant either. It has an astringent bitterness and a sour flavor to accompany the corn like malt. Palate is also typical for the style except it is more highly carbonated. Metallic aftertaste. This is not one of my favorite lagers.

Bottle. Thin film of bubbles on a medium yellow body. Taste-dusty, thin, mild adjuncts, plastic, staleness, black pepper, burnt plastic.

In the old days, I used to think this was one of the better tasting Mexican lagers. Bland, faint aroma with hints of amonia. Small, white head; fully diminishing. Particalia visible...in a Mexican lager?!? Good malt flavor with some crispness. However, I detect a hint of oxidation; the age of this brew is now in question. Some hops in the finish. Not bad but the particalia is throwing me off. At 6% ABV, packs a punch for a pale lager.

Malty aroma, very pale yellow color. The malts were clearly prominent in the flavor as they was no hint of hops. It has a nice light mouthfeel and a smooth aftertaste. Very good for a Mexican beer.

This is my Mexican beer of choice when it comes to jalapenos because its very watery and it has a malty flavor that seems to go down well with Mexican food. It has some breadiness as well and doesn’t have that funky flavor Corona has. Its smoother but not as eventful as many other beers.

Bottle - I like this one! One of the very few Mexican beers I’ve ever said this about. Minimal aroma - some malt. Typcial lager appearance. Pale yellow with a white head. Not a lot of flavor, either, but some malt. Next to no hops anywhere around, but it went very well with the food.

Regular pale lager pour with a nice head. Need to add lime to it. Light corn flavor. Same as all Mexican beers.
