Tastes a lot like a lot of other Cervezas that appear to be on the market lately. Somewhat sweeter than most. Bubbly, refreshing especially with hot Mexican foot, and very drinkable. beermatrix (1497), Twin Cities, Minnesota, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Jul 15, 2003 Color is, well, yellow. No head presence when poured, just some white fizz. Lacked of carbination. smell is mostly faint malt no hop presence. Taste is the same, more malt then anything, very light and clean but no real body or boldness. Feel is light bodied and wet, easy drinker, but passable. Schroppfy (1813), Ohio, USA

Aroma of light bread, flowers, and dough. Initially sweetness leads to a moderately bitter finish. Dry finish. Very dirty mouthfeel. TheGreatKen (76), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 1, 2003 The best Mexican beer ever. It's a little better than Dos Equis. Very crisp taste (common for a Mexican lager). kumite56 (461), Cordova, Tennessee, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jun 28, 2003 One of the better Mexican lagers. Much better than Corona. Simple, refreshing hot weather beer. Crispness makes it good with anything spicy. Good beer to wash down carne asada and spicy salsa. Shag (1923), Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 27, 2003 Dinner at the mexican restaurant. Look at all the beer variety! Well not really. There were two kinds basically, Negra Modelo and everything else. This was everything else. A notch above Corona, nothing offensive and a pretty easy drinking lager and not much else. Just toss that lime in there and eat the #14 combo plate with enchiladas and beans and enjoy a good dinner and a fairly decent beer.
