Pours pale, clear yellow with a 1 inch head that’s gone in a flash. Smells like malt and hops and your run of the mill pale lager. As it gets warmer, it begins to smell like dirty laundry. Tastes like light corn sugar malt and bitter hops. Mouthfeel is medium/light syrupy.Finish tastes like sweet corn.

A fairly typical representation of a Mexican lager. Lots of corn and malt. Nothing great. Remember when the bottle had the cap opener molded into the bottom?

Been years and Years since I had this When I was in Ft Hood, we would pile in the car and drive to Austin Tx. There was a super great Mexican restaurant in Austin. Carta Blanca tasted failrly good, what with us guys wolfing down extra hot enchilada’s with super hot sauce flavor was good, easy on the palate. Kind of light color on appearance for a person who likes dark beers.

(cleaning out my beer bottle collection as pictured in my profile and utilizing ratebeer.com) As I recall, this was a typical light tasting Mexican macrobrew.

Bottle. Pours hazy yellow, white head. Aroma is malt, ketchup, hops. Flavor is malty and that’s pretty much it. Not offensive, but not good.

This brew poured a medium head of fine to medium sized white mostly lastin bubbles that left behind a fair lacing and a softly carbonated transparent orange colored body. It hd a mild malt aroma if it had any aroma at all! Its mild malt hop flavor was nothing special and its mouthfeel was smooth and thin from start to finish

It’s good when you’re feeling in the Mexican spirit, but it tasts a lot like Tecate. Kind of like crackers, butwith a little bit of a more refreshing finish. Okay ice cold.

Bought this from Liberia, Costa Rica, sampled lukewarm... Golden color, small white head. Sweet honeyish aroma mixed with grain and brewing cereals. Watery. Sweetish corn-like flavor. Hints of alcohol in the finish. Oily aftertaste. Flavors are fading away quickly.
