It is Mexican beer, better than Bud but fairly unimpressive. Not very heavy, would wash down the peppers well though. Good for boiling sausages though.

Now this is Mexican beer! Served at various taquerias in San Francisco, this is the most refreshing beer to order with Mexican food. Don’t think Corona....think Pacifico or Tecate, but good! Great lager flavor and quite refreshing.

Smells a bit like cereal and feet. Yellow amber that doesn’t impress. Palate is light all around. Overall it is smoother with a cleaner finish than most Mexican beers.

No aroma. Clear light yelliow, no head. Watery with light hints of vanilla. One of the weakest beers I’ve had. Mexico’s answer to Milwaukee’s Best.

Tastes great with mexican food. Tastes like fizzy water without it. Forget Carta Blanca....you might as well call it Coors Budweiser...but slightly better. I’m sure location has more to do with the impression of this pale lager than the actual flavor....I’m sure it would taste awesome on a warm sunny beach in Mexico with a plateful of taquitos. In this instance, location is everything.

Bottle at the local Mexican restaurant. Yellow, fizzy. Great beer to drink with Mexican food and goes down easy. Not bad.

Bottle. Standard yellow, fizzy head. I found the carbonation level to be pretty good. On taste, it’s grainy/corny, a kiss of hops and pretty dry finish. It is somewhat sweet, very easy to drink. Okay.

2 pint bottle. Pours the standard cerveza pale yellow. Finger thick head that dissipates within a minute. Smells slightly of corn. The palate is very carbonated with a clean finish. Thicker than its brother Dos Equis, with a tad more flavor. Costs a good 75c (US) less per bomber than Dos Equis. Also comes in 2 pint bottles instead of 1.5. A good cerveza overall. Very clean, very drinkable.

Typical Mexican pale lager. Thin, yellow, bland, and a little too much carbonation.
