Aroma is sweet malt-caramel, citrus hops. Taste is sweet malt-caramel, balanced with citrus hops. OK/mild carbonation. Braudog (3463), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates Sep 24, 2006 Draft pint at the brewpub, 9/18/06: Dark red with a really thin, yet rocky, head. Nice fully consistency with a nice full-up body. Perfectly built but un-biscuity maltiness with just a twist of hoppy bitterness. One of the better ambers I’ve had in a while. ratman197 (2358), Arvada, Colorado, USA Jul 9, 2006 Growler poured a clear amber with a minimal ivory head. Aromas of carmel, a hint of oak and some citrus notes. Palate was light to medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of carmel, a hint of toffee, light citrus and a bit of oak with a smooth lingering woody finish. A very tasty amber indeed!
