Pours a dark golden liquid with average legs. The aroma has a pleasant baked apples feel, like apples in an apple pie, there’s lingering sweetness and the promise of some tartness in the mouth. The promises made in the aroma are well delivered since there’s a disctinct tartness in the mouth, also the baked apples are there with a sweetness akin to candies and dryness. This is a very pleasant and well-made ice cider.

Bouteille de 375ml., acheté au Marché des Saveurs. Jaune doré, légé filet. Arome de jus de pomme sucré et assez alcoolisé, prèsque fort. Goût d’acide de pomme, légèrement sucré et très acoolisé.

Light yellow cider. Fresh apples and light lactic acid notes in aroma. Very sweet apples in mouth with light alcohol notes. Rich and smooth for a cider. May 2005.

The Lure:
Lemony apples and a light alcohol filet within a watery translucence.

The Festivities:
Sweet fullness and more attractive citrusy apples. Alcohol is nowhere to be tasted, this is all pure apple juice.

Transcendence:
A pleasant stroll in a candied orchard.

Big apple nose, rather complex apple mixture, there has to be some granny smith or another brand of tart apples and that sweetness just can’t come from anything else than a sweet macintoch type. It pours a very pale yellow, shining, totally clear. That mellowed oldish taste must come from a yellow one.. Woody, a light "pencil shavings" dryness shines through while the apple skin tries to come up front with a slash of restrained alcohol. Thick almost cloying body, rounded, still, comfortable. Strong apple taste all the way, leaving a superb yellow apple sweetness memory, approaching pears and pinneaple. Mmmm, I must agree with my 2 pals, this one has a most excellent tartness to back the intense sweetness and it works impressively well. A top notch cider.

Strong, tart, dry apple aroma with plenty of oak. Clear, pale golden with nice viscosity - it coats the glass beautifully. Sweet apple aspect with up front with tartness emerging to counter-balance in the backend. Viscous and thick, somewhat syrupy mouthfeel. Decadent and dessert-like. Not nearly as dry as the aroma suggests. Bottle savoured with muzzlehatch.

375 ml bottle provided by and shared with the most hospitable tiggmtl. Clear, oily light amber, very still...slightly alcoholic, fresh, subtle medium-sweet/dry fruity nose with just a splash (or a splinter?) of oak...sweeter, juicier flavor, barely a hint of alcohol present, thick but not syrupy, hints of late tartness and fond memories of fresh cider at home...very balanced between thedry and sweet, fresh apples and oak mustiness...a treasure, among the best.
