Heavily malty hay aroma. Quite low carbonation. Flavour is quite sweet, mild - but not as thin as other lagers around the world. Actually drinkable - though I’m not the biggest fan of malty sweet lagers. Beerlando (2344), Orlando, Florida, USA
| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 2/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Aug 2, 2007 Rated 8/2/07. Pale straw color with an average white head. Moderate lacing noted. High carbonation. Aroma is very grainy and toasty, with a bit of dust and some serious funk. The smell is rather unpleasant. The taste is a drying mix of wheat and, well......wheat. Tastes like liquid cardboard, to be perfectly honest. Very astringent. Watery body and a funky aftertaste. Not even remotely good. Drain pour. tsarman (794), Northern, New Jersey, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jul 15, 2007 Brings up images of the classic film and its love story. A note of Bergman in the first sip, and some Bogey in the finish. As always, the Lorre hops were amazing. But, the beer was standard. Enjoyed in Morocco itself, or Epcot, during an odd desert thunder storm. Bullit (1377), Glasgow, Scotland
| 1.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jul 1, 2007 Clear yellow colour, small white head. Not much of an aroma. No bitterness in the flavors, very light body. No aftertaste. After one minute you forgot you actually have been drinking this beer. jimhilt (1687), Bow, New Hampshire, USA
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 27, 2007 From my notes 6/9/07 pours a two-finger white head that quickly goes to a ring, leaving no lace. Crystal clear amber color. Musty nose. Light carbonation and light bodied. Flavor is typical hoppy lager that tends to be bitter at finish. This was actually really good for a pale lager, probably one of the better ones I’ve had. The flavor was strong and somewhat pleasant. JAF737300 (797), Tampa, Florida, USA
| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Jun 13, 2007 The budweiser of Morocco. This shows notes of corn and grass. The mouthfeel is crisp and light all while pouring light straw. obguthr (1053), Poquoson, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 4/10 | 4/5 | 8/20 | Jun 10, 2007 Strong barley aroma, pungent, and a little like gasoline. Absolutely no head despite cheating on the pour. Yellow color. Taste is mediocre, grainy, and like Miller Lite, but drier. Clean and refreshing grassy hop finish, well timed. I drank half and shandied the rest. That didn’t work out quite as well as I hoped.
