Thanks to Joenuegs for this one! Muddy orange pour. Fizzy off white head and minimal lace. Fresh apricot aroma. Funky sour fruit flavor. Clean and refreshing. Dry finish. I was really impressed with this one. Time to score some more!!!

Bottle thanks reu-bone for the share. Pours a blond body with a white bubbly head. Apricot and light apple tones, some lactic acid with a light woody character. Light warming with some sour character but still a bit sweet. Good overall.

Cloudy, cider colored pour with tan/pale top layer. Generously carbonated with slow, well covering lacing. Powerful apricot aroma. Mouth-watering sour apricot flavor, with almost no alcohol evident. Pleasant sourness stays all over long after the beer is gone. Mmmm.

Tasted at the Thursday RBSG Events on 7/9/09. This sour/fruit beer pours a muddy orange gold color from a 750 ml bottle. Medium to small sized white foamy head. The aroma is apricot and sweet. with a touch of tartness and funk. A medium bodied sour ale. The malts are fruit and semi sweet. Lots of apricot flavors, kind of semi-sweet. The hops are earthy. A touch of tartness and funk, the fruit is semi-sweet, a nice combination. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry, with a tart fruit finish. Aftertaste is slightly tart.

Bottle (dregs)… WTF OMG!… Murky, toffee-colored ale with a small, fizzy, white head. The aroma is odd, bordering on offensive, with herbal, perfume notes and lesser components of rubber, mint and earthiness. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and kicked-back carbonation. The flavor is fruity and tart – not really sour, but very nice. Too bad I can’t stand the aroma, because it’s a very good beer otherwise.

750 @ WTF OMG! Poured a hazy yellow/orange. Nose is ripe apricot, peach and funky sour. Flavor is a real crisp and sour fruit. Subtle notes of peaches and apricot, slight wood and mild lactic sourness. Real fizzy and finishes dry.

(Rating #2503)
