Bottle. Amber-brown beer with an off-white head. Tart, light musty, apricot aroma. Apricot flavor with tart/sour notes (decent acetic backing), light earthiness, light malt, and dried apricot. Medium bodied. Apricot lingers with sour notes and light malt. Nice acetic/fruit balance.

750ml bottle. Pours a hazy, swampy sunset orange with a fluffy off white head that left some spotty lacing. Nose was mostly sweet sweet and tart apricots with some citrus and light vinegar. Sweet flavor with apricots being dominant and hints of sweet oak that showed in the background. Brew finishes with a mixture of tartness and semi sweet. I like how Cascade doesn’t try to do too much with their sours, always very drinkable.

Bottle, c&c, from Monument in Concord, CA. Orange amber color with a transient white head. Tart apricot aroma. Medium body with fizzy/frothy carbonation. Starts a bit oaky and sour, and then tart apricot arrives. Finishes astringent/dry. Overall it’s apricot and mild oak. And sour. Very nice stuff. Medium level funk.

Tons of pressure behind the cork, but no foam over when it popped. Huge rocky white head that has lots of large bubbles. Nicely sour. First flavor is of the brett, but the apricot quickly reveals itself nicely. Body a dark cloudy orange color. Good job!

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of bu11zeye. Pours an almost clear golden with a creamy off-white head leaving laces. Fresh, peachy aroma. Medium body with a dry yet fresh fruity nose with a tart and astringent finish. Fresh and pleasant. 010509

[Bottle] shared by skyview. Pours a hazy gold with a small, effervescent white head. Aroma is sugary, dried apricots, and very jammy. Flavor is quite sour, but sweet, lots of lactic acid. This is the sourest, most flavorful, and overall best of the three cascade fruit sours.
