| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Apr 20, 2009 Purchased a 750 ml bottle via Malt & Vine and sampled at Skyview Sourfest II. Pours a hazy golden peach sour brew with an average off-white head that has some nice retention. Aroma of dried apricots and some yeast with a hint of oak. Taste has a nice balance of sweet and tartness with a hint of barnyard funk and wood. Finish is semi-sweet, a hint of acidic than tartness with a nice apricot and yeast aftertaste. One of my favorite Cascade sours. kegbear (269), Orange, California, USA

| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Apr 9, 2009 2008 bottle (Thanks, Andre!) Pours hazy golden, topped with a small white head. Amazing aroma; somewhat musty, with with apricot and nicely balanced lactic notes. Flavor begins with wheat which is then joined by fresh apricot and some lactic acid. Finishes with tart apricot and wheat. Flavor is solid, but doesn’t quite live up to the aroma. Very good stuff. riversideAK (2728), Shoreline, Washington, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Mar 31, 2009 This a great beer and it is only getting better as it is perfected. Pours a golden amber with a thin head. The aroma is initially full of apricots, but in a dried fresh crushed apricot kind of way. Some underlying tartness too. Lots of real apricot flavor, gotta love how it just tastes so fresh, moderate sour finish, a touch lactic and tart. If this was Russian River or Captain Lawrence beer it would be top ten per style... Just well made and tasty. Ron is my celebrity brewer. mspindler (310), Alta Loma, California, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Mar 29, 2009 On tap at Pizza Port Belgian Beer Party. Pours cloudy golden with a thin white head. Smells exactly like a dried apricots. Flavor is similar, but surprisingly not very sweet. Maybe a little bit of wood but not much. Finishes very dry and is nicely tart from beginning to end. Palate is medium with some prickly carbonation. Not complex, but tasty and refreshing. snakeoilpete (324), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | Mar 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours cloudy orange amber with a small but lasting white head. Smells tart and oaky with distinct apricot. Tastes the same. Apricot lingers through a dry finish. iowaherkeye (1856), Los Angeles, California, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Feb 20, 2009 750mL bottle, no date. Big thanks to miketd for the bottle! Hazy orange yellow with a few bubbles for a head. Not too impressive--but then the candied apricot nose makes itself apparent. Not too strong though. Flavor comes forth with a small amount of sweetness--then it totally dries out and tart fruits (apricots!) rock out into a completely dry finish, bitterness peaking around a 2. Alcohol present, but not overbearing at all considering the ABV. Low to moderate carbonation, medium full body. Quite tasty--fairly alcoholic for the style (didn’t know it was their triple--merely thought it a regular sour), with plenty of fresh fruit apricot notes to keep me (and my gf) coming back for more. Thanks to Kan for the second bottle!
