Bottle thanks to BVC. Another outstanding one from in my opinion the underrated Cascade brewery. Nice tart sour, but not so sour that the the sweetness and fruit flavors do not come through. Well balanced and a joy to drink.

750ml bottle, pours a dark purple brown with an off white/pinkish head. Aroma of blackberries, dark fruit, oak, a hint of chocolate, yeasty funk. Flavor is blackberries, slightly tart, some oak, hints of chocolate and a slight touch of vanilla. Sweet and tart finish. Very enjoyable in this summery weather we’ve been enjoying here in So Cal.

Poured a purple brown color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of blackberries, vanilla, dry oak, wild yeast, citrus, and toast. Taste of blackberries, citrus, dry wood, light acidity, and a sour finish.

Bottle 75cl. @ Papsoes blindtasting. [ Bottle #6. ]
Unclear medium to dark amber red color with a average, creamy, good lacing, mostly - fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is berry sour - tart, sour raisin, cherry, cask wood, lactic, leather. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a average to long duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20090501]

Thanks to Iowaherkeye for sharing this, pours deep and hazy reddish brown with a thin off white head. Nose is faint blackberry and some soapiness. The flavor is subtle but quite the same as the nose, with nothing in the finish that I was hoping for.

750mL no date from Monument. Hazy auburn with a 1/2 finger off-white head. Fake blackberries in the aroma with some light soap, hints of wheat. Flavor continues with a dry finish, acidity @ a 3. Mod carb with light carb. Speed rating, and not that good!
