Bottle shared by psprings at hellbilly’s holiday tasting. Nice bright red-orange pour with a foamy heady. Sour cherries, malt and yeast in the aroma. Flavor is sweet and sour at the same time, with lots of cherries and malt. A nice, not too sour, sour. Good. Thanks Paul!

750ml bottle shared by psprings at hellbilly’s holiday tasting. Pours a blowing amber with a small white head. The nose is sour cherry and wine vinegar. The taste is vinegar, tart fruit and malt. Medium semi-prickly mouthfeel. Decent stuff – thanks Paul!

Nice sour. Lovely color, a light reddish plum, very transparent. Fizzy head, not compact at all. Thinner body than desired. Aroma of cherries and soured milk, nicely done, powerful. You can kind of pick apart the layers here; acid and fruit are somewhat separate. Needs melding time. Good, but not mindblowing (I had some serious expectations...). Thanks to 11026 for the bottle.

Bottle shared with the Phoenix crew by psprings. Pours a nice orange yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet malt, yeasts, funk. Flavor is slight sourness, caramel, malts, dark fruits, yeasts. Wish this was more sour, but I think my palate may have been effected by previous sours.

Sampled at the Ohio group tasting on DLD eve ’09. Cloudy amber pour with a thin off-white head. Malty and funky aroma with some yeast. Tart citrus flavor with some yeast. Lots of lemon flavor. Pretty good.

Cloudy orange color. Yeast in the aroma. Sour flavor, with yeast. Nearly a lambic. Simple, but good flavors. Refreshing.

Poured from bomber. Aroma is sour cherry, wood, and earthiness. Palate greets with a nice full feel, supporting the flavors with soft deluxe carbonation. Flavor has strong initial sourness -- a tart cherry sourness – beautifully complemented by woody character, must, and coca-cola. So, so complex and delicious. Finishes balanced, intensely flavorful, and demanding of the next sip.

Bottle Pours out a cloudy amber topped with a sand head. Aroma of pit fruit, wood, and more fruit berry. Tast was of pit fruit, berry, oak, and malts. A lot going on here. WOW. A nice little sour and tart on it.
