Bottle. [Papsoe grand American tasting] Small light fin bubbled beige looking head that mostly diminished. Fair display of lacework. Cloudy dark amber color. Aroma of strong pepper and sour fruity notes. The nose was fantastic, but the palate doesn’t quite back up the heavy aroma. Still quite nice notes of fruit, citrus, sour and light barnyard notes with again the pepper in there. Medium bodied with an average carbonation and light dry texture. Light to moderated bitter and sweet flavor. Finishing with a pepper and light sour fruity finish. 7 / 3 / 7 / 3 / 14 = 3.4

Tart strawberries/raspberries in the nose. Acetic notes.
All in all, some nice flemish red qualities in this. Not as sour and tart as most straight flemish reds..more mellow. Cherries and other berries in the flavor with a nice touch of tartness. A touch muddy overall. Might be a bit better if they hadn’t blended the barrels? Who knows? Good though.
Appropriate low to medium carbonation with a pleasant body.
Nicely done. Not outstanding, but quite enjoyable. I really, really want to try the flanders red that went into this on its own..I bet it is quite tasty. Anyway, recommended if you have the chance. JMFG (1514), Florida, USA

Mild tart acetic aroma, grains, mild fruity sweetness. Slightly tart taste to start, fruity sourness, some barrel character, mild finish. Muddled but not bad.
