Purchased a 750 ml bottle via Malt & Vine and sampled at Skyview Sourfest II. Pours a hazy amber sour brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a thin film top. Aroma of tart apples, candi sugar, some light citrus and yeast. Taste is medium bodied, some extra carbonation with flavors of candi sugar, yeast, a hint of lemon zest and apples. Finish is semi-sweet with a candi sugar and yeast aftertaste.

Thanks for sending, Suzy Greenberg. In the cuvee emerging style. Significantly sourish, and only the hint of wood,a bit more of apple, whereas say a Southern Tier would be very much reversed. Heavier carbonation, rising carbonation bubbles- good for sour fans. Colour is full opaque grapefruit, with soapy white head, and lacey.Sour malt vinegar in aroma.

Shared by JCB and some dude at the pre-footsex party. Thanks to you both! Flavor is tart and fruity but also sort of soapy and off. Not sure whats going on here but only part of it is good. Strange sour that I can’t seem to figure out after having it twice. I guess it would help drinking it somewhat sober sometime.

Bottle @ Saraveza... Poured amber with an off-white head. Sweet aroma of a wild yeast character. Well carbonated and really dry palate. Light fruit -- like apples / berries / or even maybe bananas -- Very light and refreshing and insanely drinkable. Had a great tart finish.

This is another odd sour. I get some salty veggie soup notes along with some of the usual funky sour lambic notes. Oddly citrusy. Very fizzy almost soda like mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle shared by JCB. Cloudy amber pour. Confusing nose... salty and vanilla notes? Reminded me a bit of making a ’suicide’ at the drink fountain. Is that "limon" I taste? Weird bitterness that makes me think of aspertame. Slight sweetness, too, and a dry finish. Totally odd, but slightly better than my description makes it out to be.

Thanks to JCB for sharing this one. I seemed to enjoy this one a little more the CC. Light amber pour with notable pinkish hues. Aroma of fresh berries and oak. Slightly acidic flavor with some nice horse blanket and Cherry pit notes

750ml from RiversideAK - thanks, Alex!!! Dark musky pourwith a pretty substantial head. A nice element of spice and vanilla is detectable in the nose, giving it the quality of an oud bruin, as Ethan notes. Musky and flavorful, with a nice full mouthfeel. The tartness emerges more prominently in the finish, but I confess I get an odd seaweed note in there. Strange one.
