Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Cloudy reddish brown color with a small bone colored head. Nose is maple syrup and sour cherries with some old wood. Taste is a tad bit meaty but comes across very balanced and sweet with cherries one the back end and some oak. Nice, I like it.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours with a nice off-white head that leaves good lacing. Hazy reddish brown body. Aroma of caramel, sourness, cherries, more sour and oak. Taste is sour upfront and gets a bit more fruity as it warms (but not as much as the aroma suggests). Lightly fizzy. More recent bottle...extremely vinous with cherries and brown sugar.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a brown/red with slight beige head. Aroma is somewhat acidic, citrus and wild cherry. Flavor is very nice, acidic with light wild cherry and a little barnyard funk and wood, sour. Mouthfeel is champaign like, light body, and fizzy. Overall, very nice and refreshing

Dark brown with a pink tinged head. Nice sour cherry, caramel, musty aroma with some oak. Medium body. Flavor is fresh sour cherry with wet wood and some caramel sweetness. A tasty sour red but not as dry or complex as the better Belgian examples.

25.4 oz bottle. Magenta brown with a bone froth and tiny active surface carb. Nose is woody cherry with a touch of earth. Lightish body with refreshing, semi-sparkling carb. Taste is sour cherry and jam. A tad muted but nicely softened to make this highly drinkable.

Appearance: Pours an opaque, garnet-hued body with a thin, ivory-colored head. Smell: Fine aroma smelling of pound cake, slight oaky notes, and simply teeming with cherry goodness. Taste: Plenty of juicy cherry flavor with a light flourish of acidity and a thin vein of sweetness. Handful of cake crumbs. Delicate oaken character throughout. Long, fruity finish with a faint hint of vanilla. Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Moderate carbonation. Drinkability: Quite nice! Pleasantly fruity and all kinds of refreshing. I certainly enjoyed this one more than I thought I would.
