Aroma: Strong malt aroma with a strong roast in the background.
Appearance: Dark amber in color, clear with a thin head.
Flavor: Big malt flavor this was light spiced with a roast and chocolate.
Palate: Dry finish, with a good Mouthfeel.
Overall: A very nice beer this was very well brewed.

Jun 18, 2008 On tap at Redmond brewpub location--Light, mustard-golden-straw body with a wispy white head. Cereal, malt nose. Sweet, crisp, floral, and dry. Clean residual sweet grain finish. Quite good.

Feb 13, 2008 Draft @ KLCC Microbrew Festivel: Pours a dark chestnut brown with a smaller beige head. Aroma is malty, roasty, and a bit earthy. Flavorful with roast and herbal earth tones. Light amount of floral hops. Had that eggshell sensation. Finished with moderate lingering bitters.
