Draft. Grainy, citrus aroma. Light amber beer with an off-white head. Grainy, sweet malt flavor with orange citrus. Lingering grain. Medium body. Not good. Grainy and sweet.

A clear golden appearance, almost straw like. A nice frothy substantial head, with some interesting rocky lacing. Aroma is lightly spicy, a little medicinal, but not in an unhealthy way. Holy shit, this is a tasty beer. Sweet malty flavor, some lemony acidity with just a hint of annoying plastic flavors in the finish, but the flavor profile completely makes up for it. Tasty toffee and honey, cookie dough breadiness with some spicy banana and clove to wrap it all up. Overall this is one of the better trippels I have had in awhile.

(Draft: Seventh Street Brewhouse in Redmond, OR) This is a very flavorful tripel, sweet and sugary, with a fair amount of bubblegum and spice, it’s mildly bitter in the finish, and seems slightly salty. The mildly aromatic nose is lightly spicy and sweet, with a fair amount of grainy maltiness in the background. Medium bodied, sweet and somewhat syrupy on the palate. Medium straw color is fully clear, and the small white head diminishes to a thin ring, leaving only a few spots of lace on the glass. A decent American microbrewery tripel, probably about average.
