Commercial Description:
Chocolate, Chocolate, Chocolate. This is the best way to describe Monkey Face Porter. It is a medium bodied porter with significant chocolate malt characteristics. But don’t let the dark color scare you. This beer finishes extremely dry with a hint of the Willamette hops used to create this perfectly balanced porter. Monkey Face Porter is perfect after a long day at the mountain or on the river!

Courtesy of After4ever, thanks Tom. It is black with a red hue and a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and chocolate. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of roasted malt, milk chocolate, coffee, dry citrus and a light, roasted bitterness in the finish. It is uncomplicated and light, and very easy to drink.

Thanks to Homerwantsbeer for sharing a bottle. The beer is a dark brown color with a medium thin beige head that diminishes steadily. Thin rings of lacing on the glass. Roasted malt and chocolate in the nose. Dry, medium body with flavors of roasted coffee and chocolate plus some malt and hops. The finish is dry and roasty with a pleasant coffee aftertaste. Decent all around.

Dark brown with a small, quick tan head. Roasty/malty/alcoholic aroma. Medium body, smooth, foamy mouthfeel. Dry, roasty, and hoppy. Some coffee and caramel/malt. Good, solid porter.

More coffee than chocolate on the nose, dark dark brown. Chocolate malt predominately, great flavor where other porters stray.

A beautiful black porter. Almost desert like with its chocolate malty character. A hearty brew.
