Dragon99 (57), Laramie, Wyoming, USA Nov 3, 2001 A nice, chocolate-flavored Porter. Smooth and very drinkable.
StanMemTn (30), Memphis, Tennessee, USA Oct 21, 2008 A beautiful black porter. Almost desert like with its chocolate malty character. A hearty brew. Beardface (259), Eugene, Oregon, USA Oct 20, 2008 Tastes thin, smells wan, everything about the damn thing is just weak. It lost its only appeal when they changed from the amazing old label too. NoiZe (1030), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Aug 16, 2008 Tasted somewhere along my trip through the States.<br />
Nice, but kinda average and thin brew. HoppyGuy (111), USA Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a tan head. A bit of a weak aroma, with some chocolate and malt. Thin taste also, with roasted barley/chocolate flavor, verging on the side of too sweet for me. I think this beer misses the balance between malts and hops. This brew won’t scare anyone away, since it has such a light body to it, and no one would accuse it of being heavy. I’m not anxious to run out and get more of it. carboloader (301), Houston, Texas, USA Jul 4, 2008 Visited brew pub in Bend, OR. Pours opaque with tan head. Delicious coffee, malt, roast flavors. Very smooth. Maybe a bit thin, but a very decent porter.
