BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 10, 2009 On tap at Raccoon Lodge Portland, Pours out a copper topped with a white head. Aroma rings of fresh hops floral and sweetness. Taste was long lasting bitterness on the citrus hops. A nice malt to help as the hops try to take over. Another tast one from the Lodge. DiabolikDUB (143), Portland, Oregon, USA Jul 16, 2009 On-Tap @ Bailey’s Taproom poured into Shaker glass.
Pours a golden-orange with a fizzy white head that lingers for sometime before creating a nice layer atop the glass. The aroma is bitter, sticky earthy hops accompanied by some soft malt. The flavor is very malt forward with some hops to follow with a lasting bitterness that ends dry. Its light-medium bodied with a nice carbonation. Its nice light, not overly bitter, palatable but does end up seeming a little hot. Not too bad though. boFNjackson (1233), Portland, Oregon, USA Jun 21, 2009 Poured from an oak barrel at Raccoon Lodge... Poured a golden/orange with a thick, white head. Floral aroma with a sweet, herb quality. Smooth palate with floral hops and acidic fruit juice tones. Malty finish with a leafy character. Very clean.
