omhper (10393), Stockholm, Sweden Jun 24, 2008 Bottled at Bishop’s Arms Vasagatan, Stockholm. Dark brown, airy head. Aroma of chocolate, coffee and molasses. Sweet and papery, gassy and light bodied. Dominated by molasses and cardboard with notes of cocoa powder. Simplistic, sketchy malt character. Finishes lifeless with medium bitterness. If you do a subtle beer you better do it well, as there is nowhere to gide your flaws... larsniclas (2794), Gothenburg, Sweden Jun 17, 2008 Bottled.
Dark red-brown. Brief, beige head.
Slightly roasted aroma with notes of vegetables.
Fresh with a light, dry bitterness. Some chcoclate-toffee. ekstedt (1785), Göteborg, Sweden May 13, 2008 Bottle (35 cl) from Systembolaget. Dark reddish brown, medium grayish beige head. Syrupy malt aroma, earthy and spicy hops. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Sweet and bitter at the same time. Not very well done. biznizness (687), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA Apr 2, 2008 This must be newly bottled? It came in the BOM club, so I’m surprised to see only 6 ratings. Anyway, solid brown. The last time I had a brown where I put the glass down and said WOW was Brooklyn brown. This isn’t that good. JMFG (1086), Florida, USA Mar 22, 2008 On cask at redlight. Slightly hazy iced tea color with a thin white head. Slightly nutty aroma, very light earthy hop aroma. Very mild, almost bland taste, some light nuttiness, some hop bitterness on the finish, but not unpleasant, and certainly sessionable.
