Its a lawnmower beer, but well made. Dry and not sweet at all. Slightly bitter, with lots of mineral salts. rmussman (905), California, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 3, 2007 A nice summer ale. Solid golden brown color with a thick white head. Very nice flavor and a hint of spices that make is a very smooth taste and even nicer aftertaste. BigBen2120 (688), Derry, New Hampshire, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 18/20 | Sep 19, 2006 I figured I should try this before summer’s finally over. Golden/amber body with half inch offwhite head. Smells rather malty with some hop presence. Medium bodied. Sweet, hints of hop. Very drinkable beer and a decent example of the style in my opinion. I really liked it. 3daddict (139), Portland, Maine, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jul 30, 2005 Cloudy golden color, smallish head with tight bubbles and nice effervescence. Grassy hop aroma. Hop bite in start, well carbonated, flavors of bread then citrus peel in finish. Crisp and dry. Good summer ale. ruggedman (619), Portland, Maine, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | May 9, 2005 Pours bright and brassy from the bottle. Nice creamy white head. A hazy body with heavy lace that last all beer long. Smell is very light but creamy.
Taaste is lightly malty. Very creamy with a light hoppy aftertaste. I don’t know if this is supposed to be a cream ale but it sure as hell tastes like one. Medium bodied and uncomplicated.
Not a great beer but it harkens back to the days I was weaning myself off of Coors Light with Genessee Cream Ale and Genessee 12 Horse at the Nyabinghi Dance Hall back in Morgantown, WV during my brief and academically unproductive college career.

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 7, 2003 Comes in a 12 oz long neck..simple label..yellow with one of those Olde Fashioned compass point doohickeys.
OK first off I think I got a bad botle of this beer..as I poured it very carefully it produced a monsterous head..in fact 80% of the pint mug was filled with head..the beer I can actually see is pleasant enough hazy gold.
The aroma is still pretty good very wheaty..pleasant sourness,
The taste however is overwhelmed by the CO2..some wheat I can make out.
Mouthfeel is pure carbonation.
Not drinkable ..I think this must be a bad bottle
