White fizzy head. Aroma is mild hops, light spice, caramel, and faint fruit. Taste is fruity (citrus) and lightly hopped with faint spice and hint of tobacco. Body is medium with big carbonation. Finishes with more spice and hops and light fruit. Not too bad. MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 8, 2005 Nice looking beer, clear sparkling garnet with a medium rocky manila head. The aroma is sweet up front with caramel and toffee distiguishable, later some tobacco and cocoa come through. The flavor is sweet and nutty throughout. Medium to lightly bitter. Almost a brown ale. The other ESA from this same brewer was much better IMO. ross (1709), weddington, South Carolina, USA

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Apr 2, 2008 Clear dull red, decent head. Fruity, vanilla and toffee aroma with some floral notes. A bit thin in body and more bitter than expected. Not nearly as complex in flavor as the aroma suggests but clean.
