Commercial Description:
Maine’s first and only bottled year-round American Style Pale Ale. By style, American Style Pales tend to have a slightly lighter body, a more assertive hop flavor and a crisper finish (the best example of an American Pale Ale is the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale).

Orange hazy beer. Cardboard aroma with notes of wet wool and wheat flour. Malty flavour with notes of cardboard. Thin with no bitterness. Maybe an old bottle.

Clear light amber, with nice lacing. This was crisp, slightly hoppy and bitter, with a little malt behind it. Nothing too complex or exciting, but not bad either.

Cold 12oz bottle: Pours a clear orange with a slight ivory hed. Aroma is of pine, hops and citrus notes. Slightly fizzy on the tongue. Taste is bitter and piney throughout.

Bottle: Clear orange with a thin white head, flowery piney notes in the aroma, medium bodied with mild carbonation, starts and ends lightly bitter. A good solid American pale ale.
