| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 20, 2005 A slightly hazy orange beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet and OK hoppy. The flavor is sweet malty with light hoppy notes as well as light citrus notes, and a lightly bitter end, and with a thin body. Not enough of most everything - yet nothing wrong. omhper (12299), Stockholm, Sweden

Sweet with some paper and syrup as well as caramel. Extremely simplistic malt character creating a very hard mouthfeel. Completely lacks ambition. American microbrewing at it’s worst. jcwattsrugger (5581), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 14, 2006 This is a fairly light APA, but tasty and refreshing nonetheless. The aroma isn’t very strong, a mild caramel with grapefruit and resinous hop scents. Light bodied, it has a sweet caramel malt flavor with a nice balance of pine, grapefruit, and lemon zest bitterness. Nice lingering bitter finish. With a 5% abv, this is good session material.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 2, 2005 2005 bottle at Julios Spring Beer Fest, 4/02/05. Talking with the head brewer while sampling. Dark caramel-amber color, small amount of white head, well-retained. Slight glassiness to the body. Low lacing. Aroma of floral hops, sweet, sugary pils malt, caramel malt, a touch of toasted malt and just a well-rounded sweet, creamy body. Fairly simple, not much fruitiness, but the low hops are enjoyable. Substantial, medium body, low carbonation and a moderately sweet finish, with a touch of minty/herbal bitterness. CapFlu (3492), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Good English style with a strong hopped-nose and flavour and malt undertones. APA not so... SledgeJr (3003), Omaha, Nebraska, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 21, 2006 In the bottle. Thanks to pman for this one! A January 2006 Beer-of-the-Month Club selection. Pours a pretty much expected rich gold color that just falls shy of amber. The head is thick, white and full of large carbonation foam bubbles. Residual lacing is pronounced. A mixed aroma that is a little pungent from the hops, but also a smell of cotton candy. Interesting complexity. Medium hop bitterness. Medium carbonation. Sort of a metallic mouthflavor resides far too long on the tongue. Has a lingering bitterness as it warms. The metallic taste hurts the beer. ChainGangGuy (2616), Kennesaw, Georgia, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 7, 2007 Let’s talk beer for a second.
Appearance: Pours a golden-orange color and capped by a foamy, white head.
Smell: The aroma is a bit meek, but there’s some pale malts, orange blossoms, and a remote scent of wheat.
Taste: Flavors tip-toe lightly around the tongue. Gently hopped. Mildly malted. With a mellow, though long-lasting, dry, orange juice-like finish.
Mouthfeel: Light-bodied. Crisp and smooth, with just the right amount of soft carbonation.
Drinkability: The is the beer equivalent of a sweet, tiny dove. Unique, and definitely drinkable, but the flavors go from being light to nearly transparent at times.
